Biography
Alicia Abdulrazzaq joined Co-ops & Careers in August 2021. Alicia has lived in New England her whole life where she has resided in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. Alicia attended the University of Maine where she received her undergraduate degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Alicia then attended Husson University where she received her master’s degree in School Counseling. Alicia is a Certified Career Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed School Counselor in the state of Massachusetts. Alicia has experience working in K-12 public schools, higher education, mental health programs, and the Department of Labor. Alicia enjoys working with students on career development where she provides tools for success, strategies to overcome barriers, and empathetic approaches to advising.  Â
Unique Fact:  Although she grew up investing 14 years as a ballerina and dancer, today, Alicia is a CrossFit, HIIT, and circuit training lover. Â

Biography
Caitlin Brison joined Wentworth’s Co-ops & Careers in 2015. Originally from southern California, she made the move to Boston in 2005. She attended Boston College for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and has worked at several colleges in Boston. Caitlin loves coaching and supporting students during their career development. She hopes to impart to students the skills necessary to identify and create rich experiential learning opportunities for themselves.
Unique fact:
One of her favorite things to do is hike the California coast. She has climbed Half-Dome in Yosemite and logged many miles through the Santa Monica Mountains.

Biography
Sara Dell joined Co-ops & Careers in May of 2015 with over 10 years of college career services and human resources experience. She grew up in Swarthmore, PA and went to University of Chicago for her Bachelors of Arts degree in Anthropology. She obtained her Master’s degree in Anthropology from University of Virginia. Sara previously worked in both large corporations as well as startups in banking, marketing, entertainment and green technology. In industry, she built internship and co-op programs and found her favorite part of the job was working with co-op students. This realization prompted a career shift to career services in Higher Education. Sara previously worked at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago helping Engineering and Technology students prepare them for successful careers and more recently, advised Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology students at Wentworth. She delights in supporting students and alumni and working with her colleagues and partners of the Co-ops & Careers office.
Unique fact:
She relocated back to Boston to be closer to friends and family after living in Chicago for many years.

Biography
Ria Kalinowski joined the Co-ops & Careers staff with 4 years of experience in Higher Education. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Skidmore College and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University. Ria grew up in Northampton, MA but moved to Boston in 2006. She discovered her love for career development through informational interviews and volunteering at career centers in the area. She enjoys providing students with the tools they need to conduct successful job searches, using technology to help them build connections and increase their marketability, and guiding students on their career journey.
Unique fact:
Every Tuesday night you can find Ria playing defense for her floor hockey team through the Boston Ski & Sports Club.

Biography
Charlie grew up in Portsmouth, RI. He received his B.A. in English Literature from Santa Clara University and M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Providence College. Charlie has experience in classroom teaching, 21st century skills coaching, and college admissions advising. Additionally, Charlie spent 3 years as a Senior Account Manager of the Corporate Work Study Program at Cristo Rey Boston High School, acting as liaison for local Fortune 500 companies and 150+ student workers. He is passionate about developing opportunities for student engagement and is also interested in empowering students to achieve success as life-long learners both professionally and a personally.
Unique fact:
Charlie lived in a rural town in Mozambique while serving in the Peace Corps and can speak Portuguese, the national language, as well as some of the local language, Changana.

Biography
Jer Jurma joined the staff with 20 years of experience working in various types of Architecture and Design firms. He studied at Boston University, Peabody Conservatory (Johns Hopkins University), the Boston Architectural College, and holds a Bachelor in Architecture degree from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. He currently serves on design boards and commissions in his local municipality while maintaining his private practice. He comes to advising from the perspective of an Architecture professional with a strong interest in education and the graphic representation of Academic work in relation to career development and advancement.
Unique fact:
Jer came to the profession of architecture after studying to become a classical musician.

Biography
Becky Smith joined the Co-ops & Careers team in September 2015, bringing professional experience as a supervisor, trainer, and coach in the fields of human resources, health care, and nonprofits. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology. Becky believes that hands-on experience makes job candidates stand out from the crowd and that it adds great value to educational programs. Her favorite role is being a sounding board who provides helpful resources to make students and alumni successful.
