Do I have to register?
Registration is highly encouraged so you receive any necessary real time updates about the event. Walk-ins will be permitted. All attendees, regardless of registration, must check-in to get a nametag. Nametags are required to enter Watson Auditorium.
Is this event for my major?
This event is open to all majors. A complete list of registered employers and the majors for which they are hiring can be found under Events on WITworks.
Will there be a bag check?
There will be an unattended bag drop and coat rack location at the front of Tansey. However, we strongly recommend you leave your belongings at home or in your locker or vehicle.
What happens during the Co-op & Career Fair?
Career Fairs are an event where employers come on campus to meet with students re: potentially hiring them. Fairs are an opportunity to tell employers about yourself, learn about current or future openings, get questions answered, make professional connections, or even follow up concerning an application you have already submitted. Use our Career Fair Prep handout for a step-by-step guide to help you prepare to attend Co-op Recruiting Week. Find all our handouts on our Resources page.
What should I bring?
Bring enough copies of your resume to give at least one to each employer with whom you wish to speak (and few extra just in case). You do not need to bring any cover letters! Use our Resume Guide to draft or update your resume with your most recent experience. Bring your resume to Resume Drop-Ins. Remember to Dress to Impress, use our handout for tips on putting together an outfit for attending the Fair. You can borrow business attire from WITwear should you need anything.
Will there be a LinkedIn photo booth?
Yes! We’re bringing the Lumatic Pop Camera to campus. You will be able to take your own photo using their camera station and immediately have your headshot sent to you. Headshots will be available at student check-in on March 14th.
Where can I find more information about the employers attending?
We keep an up-to-date list of registered employers on this page. Find additional information about each organization attending the Fair and the positions for which they are hiring under Events on WITworks.
