Fall Co-op Fair Tuesday, October 1 from 11am* to 2pm in Tansey Gym

This event is ideal for students seeking Spring and Summer 2025 co-ops and the employers hiring for these opportunities.

Students: The evolving employer list and registration will be open on WITworks in September.

*From 10-11am the Fair will be open to special student populations by invitation only.

Top tips to prepare:

  1. Have a plan for the employers you want to meet. Research organizations attending and apply to their available co-ops on WITworks. Take your research on the go with the WITworks mobile app “Symplicity Jobs & Careers”. Download from The App Store or Google Play.
  2. Update your resume and finalize your introduction at Drop-Ins:
    • Monday, 9/30 from 10am – 4pm | Co-ops & Careers and The Library
  3. Plan your outfit in advance. Employers will expect you to dress to impress. Check out What to Wear and How to Prepare for recommendations and inspiration.
  4. Skip the check-in line, and stop by early check-in on 9/30 to pick up your nametag and major sticker. Check-in kiosks will be available the day before the Fair from 10am – 4pm in Co-ops & Careers and at Drop-ins in the Library.

Event FAQ’s

Registration is encouraged so you receive any necessary real time updates about the event. Student walk-ins are permitted. All student attendees, regardless of registration, must check-in to get a nametag. Nametags are required to enter the event.

This event is open to all majors and is ideal for students seeking Spring or Summer 2025 co-ops. Employers attending are hiring for co-ops. You can find a complete list of employers attending and the majors and positions for which they are hiring under Events on WITworks.

There will be an unattended bag drop and coat rack location at the Fair. However, we strongly recommend you leave your belongings at home or in your locker or vehicle. If you must bring your bag, you are welcome to leave it in the designated area.

Career Fairs are an event where employers come on campus to meet with students re: potentially hiring them.  Fairs are an opportunity to tell employers about yourself, learn about current or future openings, get questions answered, make professional connections, or even follow up concerning an application you have already submitted. Use our Career Fair Prep handout for a step-by-step guide to help you prepare to attend Co-op Recruiting Week. Find all our handouts on our Resources page.

Bring enough copies of your resume to give at least one to each employer with whom you wish to speak (and a few extra just in case). You do not need to bring any cover letters! Use our Resume Guide to draft or update your resume with your most recent experience.  Bring your resume to Drop-Ins. Remember to Dress to Impress, use our handout for tips on putting together an outfit for attending the Fair.

Recommended attire is business/professional. Check out the What to Wear guidelines on our What to Wear and How to Prepare resource hub for tips on putting together an outfit.

Yes! We will have the “PopCam” by Lumatic at the event. You will be able to take your own photo using their camera station and immediately have your headshot sent to you. The headshot station will have its own booth at the Fair.

We keep an up-to-date list of registered employers on this page. Find additional information about each organization attending the Fair and the positions for which they are hiring under Events on WITworks.

If you cannot attend the event, please apply to the position(s) the employer(s) have posted on WITworks.
