Event FAQ’s

Registration is highly encouraged but not required. Registered students will receive timely information should we be required to make a last-minute change in plans. Walk-ins are permitted. Registration will open in late April and it can be accessed under the “Events” tab on WITworks.

This event is open to all majors and is ideal for soon-to-be alumni seeking full-time opportunities and students seeking fall co-ops. Employers attending this event are hiring for full-time post-graduation roles and Fall 2026 co-ops. Find a complete list of registered employers and the majors for which they are hiring under the “Events” tab on WITworks after student registration opens.

There will be and unmonitored bag storage area located in the Co-ops & Careers office. We strongly recommend you leave your belongings at home or in your locker or vehicle. If you must bring your bag, you may store your belongings here.

The Recruiting Reception is an event where employers come on campus to meet with students about co-ops and full-time jobs. This event is an opportunity to tell employers about yourself, learn about current or future openings, get questions answered, make professional connections, or even follow up concerning an application you have already submitted. Use our Career Fair Prep handout for a step-by-step guide to help you prepare to attend. Find all our handouts on our Resources page.

You should be prepared with your 30-second pitch and enough copies of your resume to give at least one to each employer with whom you wish to speak (and few extra just in case). You do not need to bring any cover letters! Use our Resume Guide to draft or update your resume with your most recent experience. Get your resume checked during Drop-Ins, and remember to Dress to Impress, use our handout for tips on putting together an outfit for attending the event.

We recommend you Dress to Impress. Check out the What to Wear guidelines on our What to Wear and How to Prepare resource hub for tips on putting together an outfit. For the recruiting reception, we recommend business casual attire.

Unfortunately, we will not have the “PopCam” station from Lumatic at this event. We will plan to have this available in the fall for our Fall Co-op Fair where you will be able to take your own photo using their camera station and immediately have your headshot sent to you. The headshot station will have its own booth at the Fair.

We keep an up-to-date list of registered employers on this page. Find additional information about each organization attending the Fair and the positions for which they are hiring under the “Events” tab on WITworks after student registration opens.

If you cannot attend the event, please apply for the position(s) the employer(s) have posted on WITworks.
