The Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development (Co-ops & Careers)
Wentworth Co-ops & Careers offers students and graduates a full range of career guidance which includes cooperative education and career advising, co-op preparation classes, career advancement activities sessions, career resources, graduate school planning, and various opportunities to network with employers. The Center is located in 101 Wentworth Hall and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Advising
Co-ops & Careers provides career advising to students and alumni at any point in their college or post-college experience. Co-ops & Careers assists students and alumni with researching occupational and employment information; with establishing short- and long-term career goals; with exploring different career paths; and with making informed and purposeful career decisions.

Cooperative Education (Co-op)
A co-op is full-time, temporary employment in your field of study that enables you to apply classroom learning to professional work experience. A requirement for graduation, undergraduate day program students complete two cooperative education semesters, typically one in each of the junior and senior years.

Resources & Support
Students and Alumni have access to a range of support to help them achieve their professional goals. In addition to 1-1 advising, Co-op & Career Advisors teach Co-op Institute, a seminar designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge to successfully search for and secure a Co-op experience. Co-op & Career Advisors can also support students and alumni in learning about and preparing for the graduate/professional school application process. Additionally, Co-ops & Careers provides opportunities to connect with employers through WITworks, our online job posting and recruiting system, two annual career fairs and specialized recruiting events.
