Cooperative Education (Co-op)
A co-op is full-time, temporary employment in your field of study that enables you to apply classroom learning to professional work experience. A requirement for graduation, undergraduate day program students complete two cooperative education semesters, typically one in each of the junior and senior years.

Resources & Support
Students and Alumni have access to a range of support to help them achieve their professional goals. In addition to 1-1 advising, Co-op & Career Advisors teach Intro to Co-op, a class designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge to successfully search for and secure a Co-op experience. Co-op & Career Advisors can also support students and alumni in learning about and preparing for the graduate/professional school application process. Additionally, Co-ops & Careers provides opportunities to connect with employers through WITworks, our online job posting and recruiting system, two annual career fairs and specialized recruiting events.
