Gwen joined the Co-ops & Careers team in September 2023 after having worked in the Human Resources and Finance departments at Wentworth for the previous 3 years. She grew up in upstate NY and received her BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Moving to Boston in 1994, she began her career in the private sector in Human Resources roles with a focus on Recruitment. Working alongside her husband, a Wentworth alumnus, in their engineering consulting firm for 10 years as the Business Manager, she handled all aspects of the business other than engineering. Motivated by a desire to leverage her unique experience as an employer, she joined the C&C team. Her goal is to forge and strengthen relationships with both existing and new employers, facilitating their understanding and engagement with Wentworth’s co-op program to bring outstanding opportunities to the talented students at Wentworth.
Gwen finds immense joy in home renovation projects – a testament to her and her husband’s shared passion. Together, they have transformed five homes from top to bottom and are currently diving into their sixth project. When not renovating homes, Gwen likes to read, garden, travel, go boating and spend time with family. Gwen is a proud mother of two adult children, a daughter, who graduated from WIT in August of 2023 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a son who is presently studying Marine Engineering at Mass Maritime Academy.
