Robbin Beauchamp
Assistant Provost of Cooperative Education and Career Development
Biography
Robbin Beauchamp joined Wentworth Institute of Technology as Director of Cooperative Education and Career Development in Boston in September 2014 with over 25 years of college career services and human resources experience. She grew up in Winsted, Connecticut and graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and Television Production. She obtained her Masters degree in Administration/Organizational Policy from Boston University. Robbin previously worked in Career Services at Stonehill College and was the Director of the Career Center at Roger Williams University. Prior to working in higher education, Robbin worked in Human Resources for a decade as a Recruiter, Trainer, Benefits Administrator and Manager.
Robbin is a frequent presenter at professional association conferences on topics such as leadership, neurodiversity and closing the wage gap. Robbin has been recognized numerous times by the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers, where she served on the board and co-chaired an annual conference, for her many contributions to her profession. In addition to earning her degrees, Robbin has completed the National Association of Colleges and Employers week-long Management Leadership Institute and their Career Coaching Intensive. Robbin was in the inaugural class of the Career Leadership Collective’s Mastermind, a nine-month program specifically for chief career services officers. Robbin holds the designation of Global Career Development Facilitator and is a certified Life, Career, Executive and Woman’s Empowerment Coach.
Mitchell Breslau
Operations Coordinator
Biography
Mitch Breslau joined the Co-ops & Careers team in January 2023 as Operations Coordinator. He graduated from UMass Amherst (Isenberg School of Management) in 2020 and majored in Sport Management while working for the Men’s Hockey Team, where they were one game away from winning a National Championship. Mitch brings more experience from the sports industry, working for a boutique hockey player agency and served in an integral role specializing in operations and client services. While at Wentworth, Mitch hopes to have a positive impact on the students and is determined to continue to cultivate an inclusive and enjoyable office culture.
Unique Fact: While he is not classically trained in Opera, by any means, Mitch can belt out the chorus to “Time to Say Goodbye”, by Andrea Bocelli. He hopes to learn the entire song and finally sing it at karaoke.

Biography
Gwen joined the Co-ops & Careers team in September 2023 after having worked in the Human Resources and Finance departments at Wentworth for the previous 3 years. She grew up in upstate NY and received her BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Moving to Boston in 1994, she began her career in the private sector in Human Resources roles with a focus on Recruitment. Working alongside her husband, a Wentworth alumnus, in their engineering consulting firm for 10 years as the Business Manager, she handled all aspects of the business other than engineering. Motivated by a desire to leverage her unique experience as an employer, she joined the C&C team. Her goal is to forge and strengthen relationships with both existing and new employers, facilitating their understanding and engagement with Wentworth’s co-op program to bring outstanding opportunities to the talented students at Wentworth.
Unique Facts:
Gwen finds immense joy in home renovation projects – a testament to her and her husband’s shared passion. Together, they have transformed five homes from top to bottom and are currently diving into their sixth project. When not renovating homes, Gwen likes to read, garden, travel, go boating and spend time with family. Gwen is a proud mother of two adult children, a daughter, who graduated from WIT in August of 2023 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a son who is presently studying Marine Engineering at Mass Maritime Academy.
Abbey Pober
Director of Operations
Biography
Abbey Pober joined the Co-op & Careers team in June of 2016 with a background in marketing and operations management in the construction, engineering, and environmental staffing industry. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass, Amherst and a Masters of Science in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Abbey is passionate about helping colleagues and students identify and utilize tools and processes that help them reach their goals. Abbey oversees data & reporting, employer relations, marketing & events, and systems administration for Co-ops & Careers.
Unique fact:
When not on campus, you’ll find Abbey outside in any season gardening, hiking, kayaking, and skiing!
