Robbin Beauchamp joined Wentworth Institute of Technology as Director of Cooperative Education and Career Development in Boston in September 2014 with over 25 years of college career services and human resources experience. She grew up in Winsted, Connecticut and went to Emerson College for her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and Television Production. She obtained her Masters degree in Administration/Organizational Policy from Boston University. Robbin previously worked in Career Services at Stonehill College and was the Director of the Career Center at Roger Williams University. Prior to working in higher education, Robbin worked in Human Resources for 10 years as a Recruiter, Trainer, Benefits Administrator and Manager.
She began her professional life in Hollywood working on television shows and returned to Boston to work in local television and radio.
Kristen Eckman joined the CO-OP + CAREERS team in June of 2018 after serving as the department’s Marketing Intern. Kristen grew up in Plymouth, MA and attended Emmanuel College (Boston, MA) where she received her undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing. She has always been passionate about inspiring and supporting students in the way that she had been throughout her academic career. As Operations Coordinator, Kristen supports members of the Wentworth community by maintaining the department’s relationship with employers through planning, facilitating and marketing for major events including The CO-OP + CAREER Fair and Mock Interview Days.
Kristen loves the Boston Red Sox and got the chance to work on a marketing campaign where she met some of the players including Dustin Pedroia and Xander Bogaerts.
External Relations Specialist
Chris McIntyre joined the Career Services staff in the Summer of 2015 after spending 3 years as a Career Advisor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working with undergraduate business students. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Born in Iowa, he relocated to Boston after spending his entire life in the Midwest. What Chris enjoys most about advising is watching both the personal and professional growth in students. He believes in the practical learning opportunities Co-ops provide.
He still gets the newspaper delivered and completes the crossword puzzle daily.
Assistant Director, Systems & Marketing
Abbey Pober joined the CO-OP + CAREERS team in June of 2016 with a background in marketing and operations management in the construction, engineering, and environmental staffing industry. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters of Science in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Abbey is passionate about helping colleagues and students identify and utilize tools and processes that help them reach their goals. Abbey oversees CO-OPS + CAREERS marketing, systems, and reporting.
When not on campus, you’ll find Abbey outside in any season hiking, kayaking, and skiing!
