This position will be responsible for the US and European Markets. For the US market, this position is heavily concentrated in the Eastern region of the US. Travel is estimated at 15%. Some international travel required.
Requirements
Degree: Engineering Management, BSEE, BSME, Physics Degree or equivalent.MBA a plus.
0 to 4 years of technical sales experience
Excellent customer interface skills (present, promote, and facilitate meaningful technical and commercial discussions)
Excellent detailed follow-up ability is a must.
Ability to effectively document and communicate designs with our international company partners
Must be a team player and work well with cross functional teams
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will comprise of approximately 75% business-related matters and 25% technical-related matters.
The primary goal is to grow current business with both existing customers as well as new customers. Primary responsibilities are to increase AMD design opportunities, design wins, and revenue growth. This person will also be responsible for working with both AMD Operations and customers on commercial related issues such as pricing, deliveries, etc.
This person will also be the technical liaison with Toshiba Material’s Engineering Group and our customer base.
The candidate will work effectively with the Japan Sales Team and AMD Operations Team to drive promotion opportunities, provide solutions, and close design wins.
The candidate will work with Toshiba engineering groups to help guide our factories in new product development.
