We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern/Co-op to join our Signify Color Kinetics Team in Burlington, MA. This is on on-site internship so you must be able and willing to come on-site. Must be able to work at least 30 hours a week. Strong potential to be extended into Summer 2024.

As a Mechanical Engineering team member, you’ll be responsible for helping with the development and testing of mechanical components for LED lighting systems. Be part of a design team that delivers lighting fixtures and controls which meet technology roadmaps, determines system architectures, creates prototypes, performs engineering evaluations and explores new technologies and devices. It is an environment with many opportunities to work on cross functional teams.

What you’ll do
- Perform engineering evaluation and testing to ensure proper performance, meeting all requirements.
- Document mechanical requirements, specifications, design descriptions and product changes.
- Construct prototypes and troubleshoot designs.
- Work with mechanical design CAD tools.
Your qualifications
- A junior, senior or graduate level student pursuing an Mechanical Engineering degree, or related, currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Has completed basic mechanical design coursework
- Familiarity with CAD systems is a plus

This internship could lead to an at-will fulltime role.
Pay range for this role depending on academic year and major is in the range of $27.00 to $36.00 an hour.
