Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic co-op Control System Engineer to join our team. As a Control System Engineer, you will be involved in the development of control systems and mechatronic systems for various industrial applications.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and test control systems for industrial applications.
- Develop and maintain control system documentation, including functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement signal processing and control solutions.
- Design and program control systems using programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and C++.
- Develop and implement control algorithms such as classical control (e.g., PID) and advanced control (e.g., MPC) for real-time control applications.
- Design and implement algorithms and control systems using Arduino and other microcontrollers.
