We are a small union subcontracting drilling company specializing in drilled micro piles, tiebacks, soldier piles, and various other drilling applications. Position Overview:
As a Project Coordinator, you will closely collaborate with our Senior Project Manager. While primarily remote, this role necessitates occasional site visits and in-person meetings to deepen your understanding of our drilling processes and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct take-offs for estimates/bids and monitor bid sites and portals.
- Analyze drawings and documents to facilitate project planning and execution according to specifications, scheduling requirements, and contract documents.
- Coordinate materials ordering with vendors and communicate with the Construction Manager and field teams, on material release and other site-specific needs.
- Gather daily field data for analysis and adjustments to ensure project goals, are safely achieved.
- Prepare change order packages utilizing field data, time studies, certified payrolls, and vendor invoicing.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with patience for navigating through extensive documents.
- Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to efficiently address unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in project coordination/management, civil engineering, or related field, or ongoing education in these areas, preferably within the construction or drilling industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google platforms, and other project management software.
- OSHA certification is desired
