We are seeking a Project Engineer to support our anaerobic digestion and water treatment facilities projects starting at the development phase through construction. As part of a growing company, this role will be critical to delivering our projects within budgets and schedule and ensuring project quality results in robust operational facilities. As a developing leader, this person shall drive recommendations for improving project delivery efficiencies, work with project management to identify process improvements, and implement them through a continuous improvement program. The ideal candidate will maintain a keen focus on continuous improvement initiatives aimed at delivering projects more efficiently in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety. This person should have an inquisitive mindset, ability to take calculated risks and be able/willing to recognize and react as necessary when tactics are not working.
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead owner responses to RFIs, project engineering reviews, and process contractor requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project management including project schedule analysis, contractual compliance, budget tracking, and responding to day-to-day Project Management requests.
- Formulate, track, and achieve shared and individual goals and objectives
- Coordinate with management to establish consistent project execution processes and implement/update as necessary to support a best-in-class anaerobic digester design and build process.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure all relevant internal controls are followed and recommend new controls as needed.
- Generate reports for senior management.
- Assist with agenda creation and minutes for project meetings.
- Prepare and evaluate bid tabulations, summarize recommendations for award, and provide feedback related to vendor performance.
- Coordinate with legal team to assemble contract templates, support contract negotiation process, and assemble contract documents for execution.
