Position: Hydronic Heating & HVAC Sales Engineer Co-op Internship

Job Description: We provide all training in house to bring co-op students up to speed. The general responsibilities include researching and answering customers’ technical hydronic heating & HVAC questions, preparing quotations, processing customer orders and ensuring our customer’s needs are being met. Co-op interns shadow full-time sales engineers and help provide sales and troubleshooting support.
The sales & customer support role involves the following;
- Assist in the design & advise on the method of installation of hydronic heating & HVAC systems; including the consideration of cost-effective energy-conserving design alternatives
- Calculate heating costs using energy estimation methods, installation costs, operating and maintenance costs
- Ensure all heating system designs comply with the relevant codes and standards that apply to heating systems
- Generate job specific equipment system components specifications
- Apply electrical code standards to residential, commercial and industrial systems
- Produce a complete bill of materials
- Generate professional sales proposals
- Trouble shoot problems for customers
- Provide guidance to contractor on what MassSave rebates are applicable.

In addition, promoting new and existing products to customers is a critical aspect of this role. We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous engineering training is helpful.
