Position Summary
ZVI Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Co-op student to join our team for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. The co-op will rotate between key departments—Project Management, Estimating, and Field Operations—to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial construction process.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management Support:

Assist project managers with document control, submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes

Attend project meetings and site walks to understand scope, schedule, and quality control

Support scheduling and coordination with subcontractors

Estimating & Preconstruction:
-
Participate in quantity take-offs and solicitation of subcontractor bids

Assist in preparing budget estimates and proposals

Learn cost tracking and value engineering practices

Field Experience:

Work alongside site superintendents to understand field operations

Observe daily site activities including safety, logistics, and subcontractor coordination

Help track progress and assist with field reporting
