Job Description:
This is an entry level engineering position with excellent developmental opportunities in materials science, metallurgy, manufacturing and quality. Job functions include:
- Producing 3D models with industry standard CAD systems
- Design gating in CAD and simulate solidification and metal flow to predict defects and optimize quality and production parameters.
- Work with senior engineers, industry experts, outside pattern shops, and shop floor labor to validate casting designs meet production and technical requirements
- Developing and maintaining complete & accurate written instructions and/or process documentation for new casting and new improvements to existing castings
- Creating & maintain manufacturing process routers
- Interpreting customer and company technical drawings and specifications to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with design specifications
- Exciting opportunity to work in parallels with design and be “hands-on” with foundry workforce.
