West Work is seeking a fall co-op intern for our Boston based firm. Successful candidates should have interest/focus on low carbon materials and net-zero construction for housing, higher-ed, and civic projects. They can expect to be involved in all aspects of projects, from schematic design through construction administration.
Responsibilities:
Interns may participate in a wide range of activities including marketing, interior library upkeep, research, and graphic support. Project work may include
- Developing architectural designs through 3D digital and 2D graphic exploration
- Producing space plans and building programs
- Investigating construction materials and building products
- Evaluating and documenting existing buildings
- Crafting renderings, client presentations, and information graphics
- Participating in project administration during construction
