The Research Assistant will help design, implement, and evaluate AI-driven spectrum sensing solutions for modern wireless networks. This includes developing convolutional neural network (CNN) models, processing I/Q data, and experimentally validating detection accuracy and real-time performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and train CNN/DNN models for interference detection and spectrum classification
- Preprocess and analyze IQ data from simulations or over-the-air testbeds
- Benchmark model performance for accuracy, latency, and robustness under noisy or multi-signal conditions
- Optimize models for edge deployment and low-latency inference
- Contribute to figures, documentation, and research papers
- Participate in weekly check-ins for technical guidance
