The Department of Sciences seeks a co-op student to provide technical assistance to students and support to faculty and staff in the physics laboratories. The co-op student will be responsible for learning and understanding all instructional experiments in order to best instruct students and provide assistance to the faculty. Primary responsibilities include setting up, overseeing, and testing instructional experiments with additional effort toward lab maintenance, which includes clean-up, equipment maintenance, and managing supply inventory. Participation in all aspects of laboratory safety is mandatory. Finally, this co-op student is required to attend all training and meetings for each course or those related to safety.
An additional option includes the flexibility to participate in independent projects pending approval from a faculty advisor.
