Job Description: The Additive Manufacturing Lab Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of our printing lab. This includes operating and maintaining printers, pulling prints, and managing inventory and the appearance of the lab. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment and solving problems.
- Job responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor 3D printers throughout the production cycle.
- Pull completed prints from machines.
- Load materials and prepare printers for new jobs.
- Perform routine maintenance on all 3D printers to ensure consistent uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot printer issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Keep the lab clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Add completed parts to inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track material usage and alert director when supplies need to be reordered.
- Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week (Monday – Friday).
- Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high quality standards.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
