We are looking for multiple Release Engineers to support the various product/platforms (Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega and Appian), within this project. As a Release Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting Platforms withing the Veteran Affairs Digital Transformation Center (DTC) ecosystem for the upcoming OMEGA contract (hire contingent of award). This role is centered in a high-demand customer success environment, focusing on deploying code changes, providing end-user support, troubleshooting, and managing security settings in various environments, among other cloud technologies. This position offers direct exposure to core business operations, emphasizing customer success through scalable solutions, processes, and applications.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate organizational capabilities to suggest improvements
- Support the daily operational readiness of DTC Platforms (ex. Salesforce, MuleSoft, etc.)
- Manage the lifecycle of change requests, deploying changes across various environments
- Define and implement deployment schedules for various release types using technologies like GitHub, Jenkins, Azure, MuleSoft, and Salesforce
- Maintain the integrity of services integrated with cloud environments, including in-house and external systems
- Act as a subject matter expert in DTC platforms (ex. Salesforce, MuleSoft etc.), assisting in planning and analysis for system changes and enhancements
- Evaluate new releases and platform applications and stay current with administration best practices
- Provide insight on secure application development and release management best practices for platforms
- Perform testing and validation for platform configurations and developments
- Manage the implementation of releases, including task coordination, conflict resolution, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and complete complex data loads effectively

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 2+ years as a release lead with hands-on deployment experience in complex environments
- 1+ years of experience in DevOps, including familiarity with GitHub and Jenkins
- Experience ensuring that software is compatible and functions correctly for its target platform
- Experience automating and streamlining the build and release process of software products, managing the build, deployment, and configuration of software, and then coordinating and managing the process of turning software code into a finished product
- Certified in one of the following: Mulesoft Developer, Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate, Appian Certified Senior Developer, or Certified Pega System Architect, Salesforce Certified Admin/developer
- Service desk or similar customer service role experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data loads (limits, performance, flows)
- Experience with data migration into Salesforce or similar technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with government work
- Knowledge of Agile project management and sprint planning
- Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer
- Additional Certifications (especially cross product)
- Highly skilled in verbal/written communications, presentations, math, analytical, and problem-solving
- Previous work in the government sector or in multiple Salesforce org environments
- Copado experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- All work must be conducted in the United States
