- Overseeing the procurement, maintenance, and utilization of company equipment and vehicles.
- Negotiating purchasing, rental, and repair agreements with vendors, reviewing invoices to ensure cost-effectiveness, and resolving maintenance issues while recommending improvements to optimize operations.
- Inspect equipment regularly, coordinate with managers and vendors to maintain company standards, and stay current with manufacturer specifications, warranty programs, and regulatory requirements such as DOT and FMCSA.
- Track under-utilized or aged equipment, developing strategies for redeployment or resale, and maintaining strong product knowledge with a commitment to continuous learning.
