- Assist in the production of project civil and structural drawings.
- Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL, and local permitting requirements)
- Help prepare and review Civil design, including grading and drainage details
- Help prepare and review Civil calculations for various reports (drainage, cut and fill, SWPP, erosion control, and Stormwater risk level)
- Help prepare and review Structural specifications, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost.
- Analyze loads (dead, live, wind, seismic) and design structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, foundations).
- Review and provide feedback/comments on vendor design and documentation.
- Provide field support, to include site visits to verify that work aligns with design specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects.
- Support preconstruction/proposal activities, such as cost estimates, quantity takeoffs and manpower requirements for proposals, formats and change orders.
- Evaluate and recommend renewable energy technologies and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Provide procurement support as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the executive team.
