The Harder Group is a general contractor, real estate development and property management firm in Cambridge. We are seeking a motivated construction professional to assist both our Site Supervision and Project Management team with tasks that facilitate the overall productivity and safety of our projects. Our fastāpaced environment requires a quick learner who is patient and diplomatic with many personalities, understands the construction life cycle and can toggle between field oversight and administrative support.
Candidate must have valid driver’s license, car and ability to get to Cambridge between 7AM4PM daily. Full time position with benefits. Pay scale based on experience.
Responsibilities include:
• Reports to Site Supervisor – Assist with the following:
o Oversight all trade crews from rough to finish
o Enforcing Site Safety protocols and mitigate as necessary
o Daily oversight 7AM-3:30PM with late afternoon hours and Saturdays as needed
to maintain critical path project schedule.
o Maintain an on-site project office with computer internet, print and fax
capabilities.
o Coordination of dumpsters, materials & fixture deliveries
o Organization of job site, labeling and tracking of materials and fixtures
o Maintain current plans (architectural, structural & site)
• Report up to Project Manager weekly on various project management tasks:
o Carpentry schedule with detailed breakdown of work items.
o Carpentry line item material budget with bi-monthly budget reports.
o Weekly invoices including work completed & number of hours worked.
o Weekly status summarizing work completed each week and work scheduled for
week following
o Meeting notes as required
