This position will assist in supporting the decision-making process for a diverse and seasoned team of Human Resource professionals through the use of advanced analytical methods. Leveraging a data-centric methodology, the Talent Associate – Analytics Coop will employ quantitative methods to extract value from a variety of internal / external assets to empower the business. Moreover, this individual will be exposed to solutions that require the application of innovative approaches in solving complex business challenges. Success for this executive-facing role will require coordination and collaboration across Textron, including several business units spanning the globe.
Develop strong partnerships, as well as a collaborative working relationship with peers within Human Resources and Information Technology across the Enterprise.
Use a variety of methods to gather business intelligence from internal and external sources into a common environment and transform into the proper structure that is conducive for analysis.
Act as Human Resource’s data asset curator and be the data steward by initiating and upholding data quality best practices.
Drive process improvements through standardization and process optimization using lean principles
Support HR metric reporting efforts through the development of repeatable and efficient quantitative solutions.
Develop, deliver, and maintain a wide variety of automated metric and reporting dashboards by way of QlikView, Power BI, Alteryx, Oracle Business Intelligence, and SAP Business Objects.
Support talent management and acquisition analysis.
Perform ad hoc reporting and data queries to support the needs of a variety of stakeholders
Utilize creative ideas, supported by objective and conclusive evidence, to invigorate traditional approaches to the business.
Effectively document and communicate the knowledge gained to internal customers and decision-makers across the business.
Be an advocate for the analytical methodology; Support enterprise-wide adoption by championing educational opportunities and supporting fellow peers’ projects.
Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
