Our Operations Group is responsible for the design, construction, and operation of bench and pilot scale chemical process equipment for the improvement of existing, and development of new, chemical process technologies, with a focus on Energy Transition, Renewable Fuels, and Sustainable Chemistries.
Members of the Operations Group love hands on building and operation of complex and novel mechanical and chemical equipment. Successful candidates will have a passion for converting engineering designs and concepts into small scale operating plants. As part of the Operations Group, opportunities to learn and grow will be part of every assignment.
JOB ROLES:
1. Construct, operate, modify, and maintain bench and pilot scale chemical process development equipment
2. Conduct chemical and physical analysis of various process streams and samples
3. Process data collection
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential: Must possess strong mechanical, reasoning, and problem solving skills. Mandated safety and environmental training provided at the start of employment and periodically thereafter.
Preferred: Strong analytical and data management skills Ability to work ‘hands on’ in the laboratory and pilot plant areas.
Location: The position is at the Technip Energies Research and Development Center in Weymouth, MA. Public transportation can be difficult and candidate is required to have their own transportation to and from the facility.
