TEC is seeking entry level engineers to assist in the design and development of transportation, traffic, highways, bridges, structures, civil and land development projects in our offices throughout New England. We are seeking self-starters looking for an opportunity to share in the excitement of our expansion. Successful candidates will demonstrate these interests and capabilities:
Responsibilities
- Effectively interact with staff and project managers to deliver project solutions.
- Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and reporting.
- Preliminary and final design of all components of various multi-modal roadway projects, traffic signal plans, intelligent transportation system plans, and various bridge and building projects.
- Preparation of construction plans, specifications and estimates for contractor bidding.
- Preparation of environmental permitting documents.
- Perform traffic modeling, mitigation planning, and studies.
- Perform traffic safety inventories and assessments.
- Perform bridge and tunnel inspection and rating reports.
Skills
- Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Through responsible autonomy, manage individual tasks and assignments.
- Self-starter and motivator with attention to detail.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Mathcad, Synchro, HCS, and / or Sidra is a plus.

Qualifications
- Working towards a BS in Civil Engineering or related field
- 0-2 years of experience from previous internships or co-ops
- EIT is a plus
