The Co-Op will have the opportunity to engage in engineering work appropriate to education level. The Co-op will be exposed to medical device design, gaining knowledge and experience working in an engineering environment. This is a small group, so the Co-Op will be able to work on active projects, and be giving lots of guidance and mentorship from senior staff.
In general, the Co-op will be expected to:
--Generate CAD models and mechanical drawings in Solidworks as needed to complete project tasks.
--Update patient positioning design drawings as needed.
--Develop test protocols, submit for approval, and run tests. Issue test reports to conclude the tasks
--Perform engineering analyses appropriate to education level, and apply problem solving techniques.
