Principal responsibilities for the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Design orthopedic implants & instrumentation
- Gain clinical use understanding through literature and interactions with internal team & surgeons
- Research current surgical techniques and design considerations
- Understand competitive landscape of products and restor3d’s value proposition
- Design implant and instrument 3D models and drawings using CAD software like SolidWorks
- Print metal and polymer implant/instrument prototypes for feasibility, verification testing, and manufacturability
- Contribute to Design Control documents potentially including:
- Drawings of implants and instruments
- Design inputs and outputs
- Verification and validation documentation
