This Co-op position will be based at our office in Milford Ma, or one of our jobsites in and around the metro Boston area. This position will require transportation on the part of the applicant. APM position, the majority of time will be spent working from the office under the direction of a project manager(s). There is also opportunity for time in the field under the supervision of the project manager and project superintendent. The Asst. Superintendent Role will be based full time on a job site(s). Below is a summary of potential tasks generated by a recent Wentworth Graduate who spent three co-ops with our organization and is now employed full time.
Asst. PM Responsibilities:
Drafting up LOAs, LITs, subcontracts, RFIs, and submittals with help from Project Manager.
Assist with project bid process, chase quotes from subcontractors, de-scope, and create bid summaries.
Attend weekly project meetings with project manager, generate meeting minutes.
Various administrative / organizational office tasks.
Assist Project Manager with quantity takeoffs for estimating.
Generate monthly project billings for Project Manager to review
Asst. Superintendent Responsibilities:
Provide day to day field support to the Project Superintendent and PM
Generate and Distribute Daily Field Reports, conduct daily inspections
Keep field construction documents up to date
Attend field coordination meetings and generate meeting notes
Coordinate work activities w/ Subcontractors
Generate project 3-week outlook schedules
