This co-op is located in Middlebury, CT and requires the work to be done in-person.

The individual appointed this co-op position will assist on projects in the industrial, commercial and institutional markets. If mutually desirable, the program could extend to the spring session and could eventually lead to an offer of full time, permanent employment upon graduation.
Key Responsibilities, Skillset Milestones and Assist In:
- Ensuring assigned projects/tasks are completed timely and with high level of accuracy and quality.
- Planning/organizing schedules/resources for various projects.
- Monitoring field work execution/progress and report on productivity against budget.
- Participating in regular review/revisions of systems and procedures with the end goal of improving productivity.
- Providing regular feedback on the operation concerns and issues, including supplier management and evaluation.
- Taking personal responsibility for safety in the working environment and promoting safety among field and management personnel.
- Networking with construction managers and owners to identify and pursue future projects.
- Interfacing with estimating department to assist in the preparation of quotations and costing for new projects.
Qualifications
- Educational experience in the construction industry with a basic knowledge of process and practices.
- Educational experience in project management and ability to assist in managing multiple projects.
- OSHA 10 Training preferred.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and some experience in AutoCad applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and follow-through skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
