Job Description:
In this role, the engineering intern will work closely with the engineering product design, test, and applications teams. They will be required to assist with all facets of engineering as it relates to product development, product deployment, and product sustaining engineering, which includes the following (not an exhaustive list):
- Develop product concepts with input from product development team (Solidworks)
- Process Engineering Change Requests and Orders (Solidworks Vault)
- Perform engineering tests on product assemblies and individual components
- Develop Arduino or Raspberry PI based lab instruments (may include load cell interfaces, GUIs)
- Catalog and sort test fixtures
- Collect and analyze test results
- Compose test reports
- Assist with on-the-roof product research
- Clean and organize testing labs
- Additional duties, as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated and organized. Ability to work independently and/or as part of the team
- This internship is in person in the North Andover office
Software:
- Solidworks (must understand the basics and be willing to learn how to work within a multi-user environment)
- Adobe PDF or similar PDF software
- Arduino IDE
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
