Candidates will be introduced to multiple aspects of the Infrastructure Construction Industry, including construction of bridges, dams, and other roadway and foundation infrastructure projects. Knowledge of the construction process will be gained by assisting the project management team on multiple projects that are in various stages of construction. Tasks will include, but not be limited to review of project plans and specifications, solicitation and contracting of vendors and subcontractors, review of engineered work plans, collecting and processing project submittals for submission to project Owners/Engineers, review of project schedules, and taking part in site visits and project progress meetings.
Candidates should be eager to learn, have good communication skills, and be enrolled in a field of engineering, project management, or architectural degree program.
