Responsibilities of a Matec Mechanical Tech.
- Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering.
- Implement mechanical alterations and additions during the debugging phase to ensure optimal functionality.
- Work closely with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure machines operate properly and meet design specifications.
- Perform various non-repetitive mechanical assembly functions using hand or power tools, ensuring precision and quality.
- Assemble machines and sub-assemblies according to design requirements and customer specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Utilize test equipment to perform functional testing, record appropriate documentation, and maintain accurate test data.
