Project Engineer Summer – 2021

We here at MAS pride ourselves on giving our Civil Engineering interns and co-ops a well-rounded ‘real life’ experience.  Through a combination of office and field tasks, interns will quickly find they are part of the team and are being counted on to support our active construction projects.   

To quote Lea, one of our past summer interns, “I got so much exposure to different aspects of the work here I could not have gotten anywhere else!”

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented Civil Engineering students interested in learning more about heavy/civil construction.  Some of the daily tasks for an intern/co-op include: 

• Field Tasks                                                                                    
• Office Tasks
• Layout and Operation Planning                                      
• Material Procurement and Submissions
• Quantity Tracking and Quality Control                    
• Quantity Takeoffs
• Coordination with Site Personnel                                  
• Subcontractor Coordination

A typical work day goes from 7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday (40 hours per week excluding lunch).  A driver’s license and access to a car is preferred as MAS is not easily accessible to public transportation.  We are located in Norfolk, MA less than 3 miles from Gillette Stadium.
