We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Someone to coordinate daily project activities, manage contracts, and track budgets. This role will support the project team by handling project documentation, procuring materials, and ensuring work meets scope, safety, and timeline requirements.

Magee Builders was founded in 1975 by Peter Magee, and now, his son David Magee is President. Dave is a Wentworth alum and has ample experience in the construction field, having worked for the likes of Carpenter and MacNeille, The Classic Group, Brookes and Hill, and Merz Construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Generate and maintain project schedules
- Prepare estimates: quantity takeoffs, cost analysis & bidding, subcontractor & vendor management, site inspections, budgeting & value engineering, documentation & reporting, change orders
- Manage job finances: contract review, track budgets, assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, and provide assistance on billings
- Prepare and track CO’s, RFI’s, SK’s, shop drawings, and field reports
- Manage town/city officials through permit and inspection processes
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, trade partners and other site workers
- Place orders and coordinate delivery to job sites
- Prepare and manage job binders, meeting agendas, and meeting notes
- Distribute and gather key information for bidding
- Capture and file progress images
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Construction Project Management
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and local building codes
- Proficient in reading blueprints, site plans, and technical documents
- Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with various estimating software is a plus
- Strong math & analytical abilities to calculate quantities and costs accurately
- Ability to collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
- Proficient in Google Drive, Excel, Word and FastTrack schedule
- Reliable transportation
