Purpose
Provide Engineering project duties for a small team. This position requires application of well-developed technical knowledge in planning, conducting and coordinating difficult assignments. You will make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and completion of technical assignments. Project work is reviewed for soundness of judgement. May schedule and plan work for the engineering team. May provide input in performance evaluation and people development. The incumbent will also provide engineering support in the form of engineering calculations, design assistance, technical engineering drawings and written procedures.
Accountabilities
- Maintain and administer the SOP change management process.
- Ensuring timely updates and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Gas Control, Compliance, and Field Engineering to ensure SOPs are practical, accurate, and aligned with field practices and approved before project implementation.
- Develop and track SOP performance metrics (revision cycle time, compliance audit findings, etc.)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Requires experience with drafting and GIS software (e.g., CAD, Smallworld, ESRI).
