You will be part of the IT Service Desk Support team, which supports approximately 300 in-house users and 100 remote users.
What You Will Be Doing
• Install and support current versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems and installing and supporting all Microsoft Office applications
• Support common business and productivity software
• Troubleshoot and repair Android and iPhones
• Support various peripherals
What You Should Know/Have
• Must have a car (office is located in Woburn, MA with limited Public Transportation)
• A thorough knowledge of current techniques and hardware capabilities of personal computers and local area networks, with particular proficiency in Windows XP, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Outlook
• Familiarity with Active Directory including a good understanding of Group Policy implementation
• Experience with Dell and Lenovo laptops, desktops, IBM and Dell servers
• Working Knowledge of VMware and Virtualization technologies
• Understanding of DHCP, DNS, WINS
• Exceptional English writing skills for the production of clear and concise end user documentation
• Team oriented, skilled in customer relations, able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks without supervision
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills; professional telephone manner
