The Field Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day field activities, supporting field staff, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining strong communication between teams and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of outcomes. Projects are located throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties, Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support field staff to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to company standards
- Coordinate daily schedules, assignments, and project timelines
- Conduct onsite inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, clients, and management
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field employees
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and field logs
- Ensure equipment is properly used, maintained, and accounted for
- Uphold JMLS values and promote a positive, productive work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a CO-OP or field of study.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and field operations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Read and understand architectural, mechanical and structural drawings
- Must pass background check
- Must be organized and willing to show up and give 100%
