JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Estimating Co-op is responsible for assisting our Estimating team with the day-to-day operations, including project document distribution, quantifying materials, pricing management. This position requires candidate to have effective verbal and written communication skills, organization skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work closely with the Estimating Coordinator to support the needs of our estimating staff
· Assist construction estimators with providing detailed project estimates
· Help to manage subcontractor correspondence throughout bidding process
· Assist with managing project documents and estimating calendar
· Quantify materials using Plan Swift Takeoff Software
· Maintain positive subcontractor relationships on a wide range of projects
· Read and understand project documents and specification requirements
