In this role with Ironhouse you will work on a team to complete engineering tasks and create custom engineering solutions to meet customer needs. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving industry. Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Creating Protection & Control settings designs as part of a larger engineering team
- Assist with protection studies and analyses to develop basis documents and relay setting files
- Creating Automation & Integration settings including HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design
- Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs
- Reviewing current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements
- Performing any entry level engineering role in the design aspects of engineering projects and assisting other departmental engineers
- Perform lab testing and on-site engineering support when needed
