Heritage Restoration LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (Co-op) to support our project management team on active construction projects. This role offers hands-on experience in all phases of construction, including preconstruction, project execution, and closeout.
The co-op will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, gaining real-world exposure to project coordination, cost tracking, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and documentation
- Track and log RFIs, submittals, and change orders (COR/COs)
- Support cost tracking, budgeting, and invoice review
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for scheduling and scope alignment
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Assist with project schedules and updates
- Help manage T&M tickets and documentation
- Perform site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control
- Support project closeout documentation and punch list tracking
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related program
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Interest in construction operations, project management, and field coordination
- Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD is a plus
