As a major contributor to Hasbro’s well respected Product Development Team, the candidate will work closely with design and engineering personnel to execute model development for Hasbro’s wide array of toy and game products.
Responsibilities include the construction of conceptual models, engineering breadboard models, mechanisms, check models and highly detailed functioning show samples. By utilizing hand tools and conventional machinery, the candidate will be tasked with the aesthetic finishing of molded, fabricated, or RP created parts, clean up and assembly of urethane castings, preparing parts for decoration, mixing & pouring rubber molds and the casting of resin parts.
The incumbent will communicate with engineers, designers and marketing personnel to provide value-added feedback that will enhance product development. The candidate will provide support to Sales/Marketing groups for play-tests, commercial shoots, presentations and trade shows. Support will include but not limited to, traveling to maintain samples on location, working on displays, sample pack-out and coordination.
Note: Shuttle service from Hasbro to the Commuter Rail has been suspended due to COVID (1 mile distance). Students will need access to their own transportation on days that they report to the office. A car is not otherwise required to carry out day-to-day job duties.
