The opportunity
SUMMARY:
Harvard Business Review (HBR) is the leading destination for smart management thinking. Through its flagship magazine, books, and digital content and tools published on HBR.org, HBR aims to provide professionals around the world with rigorous insights and best practices to help lead themselves and their organizations more effectively and to make a positive impact.
HBR adopts a “test and learn” culture. In this environment, we augment our domain expertise with qualitative and quantitative research to improve user engagement and experiences and promote subscriptions and purchases.
The Digital Analytics and A/B Testing Co-op role at HBR will design, construct, and analyze experiments and research for multiple stakeholders in editorial, design, UX, software development, and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating and maintaining data reporting tools and components, including dashboards, segments, and related data integrity workflows

Supporting ad hoc analytics requests using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics

Identifying business problems and opportunities and translating them into actionable testing hypotheses/plans

Designing and launching experiments and surveys on HBR.org using Adobe Target and Qualtrics

Documenting and analyzing research with an eye toward automated and reproducible reporting and interactive visualizations

Aggregating research findings and stats around key behaviors and metrics in a visual reference for analysts, designers, and other stakeholders

Reports to Senior Manager, Experimentation and Analytics

Largely independent day-to-day work driven by collaboration and ideation with other teams (editorial, design, UX, software development, marketing)
