The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Engineering Services team is hiring entry-level Civil, Electrical, and Electronic Engineers to implement new Air Traffic Control systems and modernize aviation infrastructure within the world’s safest National Airspace System. This role focuses on on-site installation projects at airports or within Air Traffic Control facilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute directly to infrastructure improvements critical to aviation safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include quality control, installation, engineering design support, and testing of systems such as air-to-ground communications, radar, navigational aids, electrical power systems, HVAC, and buildings.
This position requires up to 95% on-site work, with travel to project locations across the Eastern United States and Caribbean. Transportation, meals, and lodging are fully compensated, and duty locations include College Park, GA; Jamaica, NY; Burlington, MA; and Nashua, NH.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, U.S. Citizenship, and a valid state driver’s license.
