We have several hourly openings for undergrad/graduate students in computer science, working up to 40 hours a week, on various internal and client projects, using MS MFC and C++ software development stacks.
We are looking for self-starters to participate in the full lifecycle application development in the Microsoft windows environment, using the full MFC stack working on web-based business solutions. You will be working on two-three-month end-to-end projects, where you will participate in requirement gathering, analysis, coding, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
Openings:
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing engineering projects under senior engineers’ supervision.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of engineering-related software or systems.
- Conduct research and contribute to feasibility studies for new projects.
- Help with the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving engineering challenges.
- Support the testing and validation of prototypes and product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure project success.
- Assist in maintaining and improving current products or systems.
- Perform data analysis and create reports to support decision-making processes.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Course work in computer science, projects or work experience in developing applications using the entire Microsoft MFC, and C++, C#,.NET, and XML and MS SQL or Oracle.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.js.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
- Excellent academic standing, and grades of success meeting project schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to contribute individually and in a team, working in dynamic, and rapidly growing, emerging high-tech company environment.
Education:
- Computer science degree candidate, or graduate student in computer sciences or related field.
