As a Helpdesk Administrator Co-Op, you will be a vital member of our IT Systems team, responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users. Your day-to-day tasks will range from Office 365 administration to active directory administration, networking, and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.
- Write documentation on Helpdesk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Walk users through problem-solving processes.
- Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Administer user accounts and permissions in Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Support in the roll-out of new applications and updates.
- Participate in laptop hardware refreshes, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Carry out data center facilities work as needed, ensuring the reliability and performance of IT infrastructure.
- Basic Cybersecurity administration tasks
- Configuration of Email security policies
- Troubleshooting issues with local Network Attached Storage (NAS)
- Creating and Modifying Role Based Access Control (RBAC) security settings
