This is an exciting opportunity to apply classroom knowledge and learn new skills in the high tech industry.  The Co-op will be a member of the Product Performance engineering group in Product Development team. The group provides performance evaluations of E Ink display products and assembles customer specific prototypes, as necessary, for new ePaper film platforms under development.
 
Responsibilities
 
Projects include varied opportunities to work with new ePaper displays incorporating the latest E Ink technology.
Work with the product performance engineers to manage device supply logistics for various projects, in particular, collaborating with counterparts in Asia
Work with the team to assemble customer specific prototype display units, incorporating the latest technology to support Marketing and Sales activity
Assist the Product Performance engineering team in creating CAD drawings to support the production of new display models
Learn to design experiments, test samples and characterize electro-optical properties of E Ink display products by working closely with the Product Performance engineering team
Build understanding of product lifetime and reliability factors
