Plan and manage construction projects from estimate to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely manner, efficient and profitable manner.
Read and understand project drawings and specifications to develop estimates for project bidding.
Submit project bids and attend bid openings.
Negotiate contracts with material suppliers and subcontractors to reach agreements that meet project requirements.
Develop project schedules for construction projects.
Prepare for and attend construction progress meetings with Owner and/or Engineer.
Create project submittals and manage submittal process to meet project requirements.
Regularly meet with construction Site Superintendent to review project progress and assist in planning future activities.
Track daily field work in company tracking software and monitor project progress. Provide feedback to Site Superintendent and Company Managment.
