Co-ops assist the Staff Architects, Senior Architect, Director of Campus Planning, and the Facilities Project Manager as well as the rest of the Planning, Design, and Construction team with project delivery. This includes: site surveys, documentation for the in-house workorder construction projects and capital renovations, concept designs, architectural designs, CDs, and Revit/AutoCAD drafting.
The Planning, Design and Construction department structures itself as an (in-house) Architectural firm serving our clinical, administrative, and research community. Co-ops work closely with the Staff Architects to produce design work, and the Facilities Project Manager to oversee construction of the in-house workorder projects. Co-ops also assist our Senior Architects with the Campus Master planning and with Capital Renovation planning.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is walking distance from the Colleges of the Fenway, and is accessible from both the MBTA D & E Green Lines. Opt-in shuttle services to transit hubs (Ex. North Station, Ruggles, Brookline) are available upon request.
We offer a rich learning experience for a motivated student in a supportive (and fun!) working environment. Co-ops are encouraged to apply early but might not hear back right away until our team has received all applications.
