Daily Job Duties
- Actively participate on internal team (s) that focus on continuous improvement of the business.
- Assist in supervising the field construction of a project, including its organization, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete the work on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
- Be stationed at the project site or otherwise as deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
- Become familiar with Prolog/database software programs as well as permit processes and occupancy requirements.
- Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials as well as oversee the setup of job files.
- Develop and implement work schedules, site planning, logistics and procedures for the execution of the work, and QA/QC procedures.
- Establish and enforce a comprehensive project safety & security program as defined in the company safety program and in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations.
Visits to various sites around New England are required. Must be able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Must have close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; be exposed to moving mechanical parts; mobile and stationary cranes; elevated structures; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
