About the Job:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a wide range of projects, supporting the Company’s construction and development projects, as well as ongoing operations. Current projects include the construction of a new multi-story residential building, exterior façades, interior fit-ups, upgrades to existing buildings, solar array installations, and energy efficiency retrofits.

You will collaborate with colleagues from our in-house design, purchasing, sustainability, construction, and maintenance departments. To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, an ability to multitask, and a commitment to meeting deadlines, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Source and negotiate the purchase of goods and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and value.

  • Identify alternative vendors to secure the best pricing.
  • Collaborate to make informed decisions regarding product selections and construction methods.
  • Administer, monitor, and critically review contracts.
  • Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Coordinate, direct, and expedite materials and labor acquisitions, ensuring timely completion.
  • Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and process purchase orders.
  • Seek cost-effective solutions and products, helping to streamline recurring processes.

A Successful Candidate Will Also Have:

 A strong desire and ability to learn and adapt on the job.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Motivation to collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
  • A current or near-term residence in the north-suburban Boston area.
  • Five or more years of experience in a closely related field
