Summary of Internship
The Store Planner Internship is a 14-week program. The Co-op will report to the CAD Manager in CBES’ Professional Services group and work closely with the CAD Manager in support of a CAD Standards project to develop fixture plan drawing and process standards across the multiple brands of our retail client and for our Store Planner teams working for that client.
As part of this opportunity, the Intern will be asked to contribute to the building of an AutoCAD block library used in creating 2-D AutoCAD retail store fixture plans for our client. The individual blocks include a variety of defined attributes used to assist the equipment purchasing and A&E functions associated with the construction and fit-up of the retail store.
- Work closely with the CAD Manager in support of the CAD standards project
- Creation of AutoCAD blocks as part of an expected 3,500 block library
- Participate in team meetings related to the CAD Standards project
- Assist in other areas of the project in which the intern has applicable skills (e.g. creation of automations designed to facilitate the creation of the fixture plan)
