We are seeking a Instrumentation Technician I for our Safety Assessment site located in Shrewsbury, MA.
The following are responsibilities related to the InstrumentationTechnician I: Responsible for performing validation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration and repair on a variety of sophisticated components, analytical equipment, and instrumentation for laboratory equipment and automation.
The following are minimum qualifications related to the Instrumentation Technician 1 position:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a laboratory science or related discipline required.
Experience: Two to four years related experience in biology, chemistry/pharmacy, or similar lab environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Other: Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated independent analytical and problem solving abilities. Proficient with computers and instrumentation and analysis software. Demonstrated knowledge of GLP regulations. Ability to interact appropriately with all levels of employees. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Ability to handle stress effectively and adapt to change.
